We encourage everyone in our school community to become members of our PTSA. Membership is open to anyone who believes in helping children succeed — including parents, grandparents, teachers, and students. Members have access to numerous online support materials, on topics such as homework, media safety, and child health. By becoming a member, you join North Carolina’s oldest and largest volunteer organization advocating for the education, health, safety, and success of all children.
Note that becoming a member does not obligate you to attend meetings or to volunteer, although we always welcome attendees and volunteers). Contact a Smith PTSA officer to learn more about the Parent Teacher Student Association. Let your voice be heard – join today!
2018-19 Membership Fees:
- Students, Parents, Grandparents: $10.00 per person (Dues are NOT tax deductible.)
- Smith Teachers and Staff: Free
1 – Complete and return the 2018-19 Smith PTSA Membership Form (also sent home with student packet)
2 – Attach check, payable to Smith Middle PTSA. Forms and checks can be dropped off in the main office, sent to school with your child, or mailed to: Smith Middle PTSA, 9201 Seawell School Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516
